We would like to extend an invitation to scientists and trainees to attend the Alberta-British Columbia Islet Workshop 2025. A-BC Islet Workshop is open to all islet scientists and trainees. This meeting will be held at the Silver Star Mountain Resort, British Columbia between February 11-13, 2025.
The meeting has been hosted by the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia at Silver Star Mountain Resort since 2012. This joint workshop began in 2012 in response to a need to provide a scientific meeting for islet scientists and trainees to share their research and network. The format of the meeting invites research trainees and post doctoral fellows to deliver oral presentations and invites two keynote speakers to share their research. The meeting includes group activities to encourage networking and building relationships for islet scientists from Canada and beyond.
