CIHR INMD/CNS New Investigator Award – Dr Rachel Murphy

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes (CIHR INMD) and Canadian Nutrition Society (CNS) have awarded Dr Murphy the 2018 CIHR INMD/CNS New Investigator Award on May 5, 2018 in Halifax Nova Scotia. Dr Murphy is an Assistant Professor in the Centre of Excellence in Cancer Prevention, School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver BC. Dr Murphy’s research focuses on nutrition, obesity and chronic disease prevention. Her research uses a population-based approach and innovative methodologies to study metabolic pathways underlying relationships.
