Season 3 Episode 5 Dr Graydon Meneilly
Older adults with type 2 diabetes face unique challenges—and they’re often a very under-studied group. Dr. Graydon Meneilly has spent more than four decades studying diabetes and carbohydrate metabolism in the elderly in order to improve treatments and outcomes. He currently runs a specialized multidisciplinary clinic for diabetes in the elderly.
Dr. Meneilly is a gerontologist and a professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. He is a founding member of the the BC Diabetes Research Network steering committee.
