Welcome

We would like to extend an invitation to scientists and trainees from across Canada to attend the Alberta-British Columbia Islet Workshop 2023 (A-BC Islet Workshop 2023). The A-BC Islet Workshop is open to all Canadian islet scientists and trainees. This meeting will be held at the Silver Star Mountain Resort, British Columbia between February 14-17, 2023.

The meeting has been hosted by the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia at Silver Star Mountain Resort since 2012. This joint workshop began in response to a need to provide a scientific meeting for islet scientists and trainees to share their research and network. The format of the meeting invites trainees to deliver an oral presentation and invites two keynote speakers to share their work. The location lends itself to group activities and networking opportunities.
