UBCO DIABETES RESEARCH DAY 2022

Academic Research Conference

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstract deadline: May 4, 2022, 11:59pm

Join us for our 3rd UBCO Diabetes Research Day to be held in person on May 25 and May 26, 2022.

The meeting venue will be the Hotel Eldorado in Kelowna BC.

This academic research conference provides an opportunity for UBC Okanagan and UBC Vancouver faculty members, their trainees and partners to exchange scientific information and ideas, and to assist in the development of collaborative diabetes-related research activities across British Columbia.

PROGRAM:

The two-day event invites trainees to present their work with a focus on the latest diabetes research topics with both clinical and laboratory applications. The highlight event will be an evening poster session held at a local vineyard. This event is open to all BCDRN members, UBC faculty and their trainees. Faculty and trainees from other universities (i.e., Simon Fraser, Victoria, UNBC) may also attend.

There is no registration fee for academic delegates. Ground transportation will be provided between Vancouver and Kelowna. Out of town attendees will be responsible for their own hotel accommodations. A block of rooms has been reserved at the meeting venue for delegates. Details will be released in April.
