T1D Research Works 2020 – a knowledge exchange event and live theatrical performance of Steel Magnolias on Granville Island hosted by BC Diabetes Research Network and Young and T1.
We invite the Young & Type 1 and UBC academic communities to come together for networking and a live stage performance related to living with Type 1 Diabetes. This special evening will start at the Granville Island Brewery for a networking reception followed by a theatrical performance of “Steel Magnolias” by Boone Dog Productions. Our goal is to share and celebrate diabetes research being conducted across British Columbia with the community of young people in BC living with Type 1 Diabetes and their family & friends.
RSVP: Tickets required for this event. Attendees must be members of Young & Type 1 or the UBC academic community to attend.
This special community event is made possible with funding from the University of British Columbia’s Grants for Catalyzing Research Clusters.
